Luba Muzichenko
San Francisco Real Estate Specialist
San Francisco isn’t just where Luba Muzichenko sells homes. It IS home.
Born in what is now Ukraine and brought to San Francisco at age two, she has spent her entire life in The City. She grew up in the Richmond District, left Lowell High School early, earned her hospitality management degree from USF, and built her first career in hotels. After 9/11 reshaped the industry she’d chosen, she pivoted to office management - and eventually found real estate, which found her right back.
That was 2006. When she was named Rookie of the Year at Zephyr Real Estate, it was the start of a career defined less by transactions than by relationships. She earned Top Producer status multiple times and, in 2024, joined Vanguard Properties - drawn to its independence, its integrity, and the fact that it operates like a human company in an industry that frequently does not.
Today she leads the Luba Muzichenko Group at Vanguard Properties, working with buyers, sellers, and investors across San Francisco. Her approach is direct and occasionally inconvenient. She will tell you what not to buy. She will flag what doesn’t add up. She will push back if something feels off. Her brain is wired for pattern recognition - she’s been a Mensa member long enough that it stopped feeling like a party trick - and it shows in how she reads a market, a deal, or a room. The goal is always long-term success, not short-term wins.
She holds the CRS and SRES designations, is a graduate of Ninja Selling, and is a member of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, Luxury Portfolio International, LUXESF, and the Top Agent Network.
Alongside her client work, she serves as Founding Partner and Real Estate AI Strategist at Maira (trymaira.com) - an AI platform built specifically for real estate agents. She’s not a technologist. She is a working agent using two decades of field experience to shape how the platform thinks, speaks, and serves agents in the real world. Same instincts, different application.
Outside of work, she serves on the board of Beyond Rescue, fosters dogs year-round, and spends Saturdays at Pet Food Express in Stonestown keeping an eye out for the right match between a dog and the person who wandered in not quite knowing why.
“I work with people looking to achieve their real estate goals - from first-time homebuyers to experienced investors and everyone in between. My goal is to treat everyone with humanity, dignity, and integrity. I’m here from day one and long after the transaction closes. Because this isn’t just real estate; it’s your life.” - Luba
Lauren Mirov
Transaction Coordinator
Lauren Mirov is the Luba Muzichenko Group's not-so-secret weapon. With over seven years in ad tech and another six in customer service and account management, she brings the kind of organization and attention to detail that keeps transactions moving and clients breathing easy.
Real estate runs in Lauren's blood - her parents built custom homes, her brother is a mortgage broker. After managing compliance files as a real estate assistant, she found her groove in transaction coordination in 2016 and never looked back.
Bay Area resident since 2008, Lauren is the calm in the chaos - making sure every detail is accounted for, every deadline is met, and Luba can stay focused on her clients. Outside of work she's devoted to her son and her dog, who came into her life and immediately made herself at home.
Clinton Higginbotham
Real Estate Assistant
Clinton Higginbotham was drawn to real estate early, having known Luba since kindergarten and growing up around her work ethic, discipline, and client-first approach. Now part of the Luba Muzichenko Group, Clinton supports day-to-day operations while learning firsthand what it takes to run a high-performing real estate business in San Francisco.
Clinton is currently studying Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of San Francisco, where he is building a strong foundation in business strategy, operations, and leadership. Alongside his studies, he works as an Operations Associate at The Bay Club, sharpening his organizational skills and gaining experience in fast-paced, service-driven environments. He also runs a car detailing business on the side, reflecting a hands-on mindset and comfort managing multiple responsibilities.
What draws Clinton to real estate is that it is not a traditional corporate path. "There's so much more to it than sitting at a desk all day," he says. "You're out meeting clients, hosting open houses, and experiencing something new every day." He values the community aspect of the work and the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life.
His curiosity, work ethic, and ability to connect with others make him a valuable and growing part of the Luba Muzichenko Group, with long-term plans to build a career in San Francisco real estate.
